About Us

Our blended family of 6 recently moved from a small town in Washington to the big, busy state of Florida! Wow, are things different in every way from the other side of the country! We have definitely taken advantage of experiencing Florida with any free time we can muster up between jobs and school. 

We came to Florida to give our children (16, 16, 11 and 7) more experiences and opportunities than we had back in Washington, as two of them are getting ready for adulthood already (how can that be!?!) And with this move, we decided we wanted to finally pursue our goal of owning and operating our own antique mall! This has been a dream of ours for many, many years.

We LOVE taking any chance we get to hit the garage sales, thrift stores and antique stores looking for treasures. While I am the only antique collector in our family, we all enjoy going out to hunt for “good” deals.

Where are you located?
We are conveniently located next to the new Daytona Aquarium and Steak and Shake at 98 N Nova Rd in Daytona Beach
 
When are you open?
We are open every day from 10am- 6pm. Holiday hours may vary.
 
I have some items I would like to sell, will you buy them?
Sorry, we are not currently purchasing items.
 
Can you consign my items?
We are not offering consignment at this time either.
 
Do you have any suggestions of where I can sell my items?
We do not. Maybe check out an auction house…there is one in Deland and also down in Longwood
 
Are there other stores like this?
There is Nicole’s on Beach Street (Daytona Beach), Our Old School and Beehive Antiques (both Holly Hill). I am sure there are more but we are still discovering the area.
 
How did you accumulate at this stuff?
Well, it’s not all ours. We have over 100 vendors who have accumulated all of these items.
 
So, this is like another flea market?
Kind of but no. Each vendor rents a space and fills it with their tagged items. In return, we sell their items for them. They do not have to “man” their space to make sales.
 
How can I rent a space or case for my items and how much does it cost?
You can email starrdust.antiques@gmail.com (don’t forget the “dot”) and we will send you the rates, waitlist application and the Rules and Expectations.
 
How long is the waitlist?
That is really impossible to answer. Someone would have to be moving out for something to open up and we never know when that may be. Another thing to factor is everyone is waiting for a different sized spaces and/or display cases.
 
Do I need a Business License to do this?
No, you do not. Starrdust Antiques holds the business license to make the sales.
 
Do I need to do my own sales tax reports?
Also no. We handle all collecting and reporting of sales tax.
 
Do I need to be present in order to sell my items?
Nope! We will handle all of that for you.
